The press conference was held this afternoon to present Sergio González after he agreed to renew his contract with Cádiz CF until 2025. Manuel Vizcaíno, president of the club, led the presentation. "Sergio has repaid the club's commitment with hard work, a desire to grow, a vital moment of wanting to learn and improve the club's commitment," explained the president to the media in the stadium's press room.
Words of thanks from the coach, who went on to take the floor. "I want to thank the president, the club, the players and my family for everything I have achieved so far. We are very happy in Cádiz. I have to thank the fans for the bond and the affection we have for each other. We will continue working to achieve our objectives."
The desire to grow and improve. "Experience makes you better, we are learning. There are situations that in the general balance of last season we realise that we have to improve. We have to improve, update, we have a lot of desire and enthusiasm and we don't want to repeat the mistakes of the past."
