Rubén Sobrino spoke to Cádiz CF's official media after the Yellows secured victory at José Zorrilla in the match corresponding to the sixth LaLiga Santander matchday of the season.
First win. "Spectacular. I think that, above all with the good start we made, the first 20 minutes were quite good and then, I don't know why, we went away, maybe we got a bit more tense as time went on, it was very hard-fought. They came at us many times. We were strong at the back and, in a good move, we scored the goal for the first three points, which gives us a lot of confidence".
Analysis of the match. "Valladolid pressed us. We couldn't get four passes right, it was much harder for us to have possession in the second half than in the first and we tried to stay together to come out on the counter-attacks. They cut us off or we didn't finish well in the final third and that penalised us for not having more chances like the ones we had in the end. I'm very happy with the three points".
Personal performance. "I'm here to contribute everything I have. I also try to be attentive so that I can play in all the positions that the coach wants and says. That's an advantage for me. I'm here to help the team in any way I can".
