0-0 | Draw in a frenetic match

Getafe and Cádiz played out a goalless draw in an intense encounter.

As expected, Getafe-Cádiz was an intense, tense encounter, with two hard-fought teams looking for a mistake from their opponents to take the lead. Cadiz started with more danger on the rival goal, with Álex and Sobrino having the main chances to score in the early stages of the game. When the Madrilenians stretched, Cádiz managed to make their presence felt in David Soria's area, who managed to catch a dangerous header from Sobrino in the 34th minute.

With the score level at 0-0, the two teams headed for the tunnel, with the game returning to a similar pattern to the first half. A few minutes after the restart, Choco Lozano made a run into the Blue and Whites' area and the defence ended up denying him. In the 70th minute, Sobrino again had a clear opportunity to score. A strong shot from inside the area was cleared by David Soria.

The Cadistas continued to search the vicinity of the Getafe goal. In the 83rd minute, Lucas Pérez volleyed a shot into the heart of the area, making David Soria's fists appear. In the 90th minute, Latasa headed home from a quickly taken corner. It was then time for the frantic minutes of the game at the Coliseum.

Gastón Álvarez was shown a red card after a VAR review of an action in which, on the edge of the area, he had stolen the ball from Lucas with his hand. Before the free-kick was taken, Portu was shown a second yellow card as he went over the wall, leaving Getafe with nine men. Lucas' shot went over the goal.

Luis Hernández was then booked for a second yellow in a dispute in the corner of the Cadista area. Enes Ünal's shot hit the post. In this way, after a heart-stopping finish, Getafe and Cádiz were happy with a share of the points.
