Paco López has been officially presented as Cadista's new coach. The presentation ceremony took place in the stadium's press room on Tuesday morning, 4 June. First of all, the president, Manuel Vizcaíno, welcomed the Valencian coach, reviewing his extensive career in Spanish football: ‘Paco has experience, knowledge of the category and a long career that we hope he will also have at Cádiz’.
The new Cadista coach expressed his first words as coach of Cádiz CF: ‘I would like to thank the club, the president and Juanjo for the trust they have placed in us. The word is enthusiasm to build something beautiful together: players, staff, club and, of course, fans. I am extremely happy to be at such a prestigious club with so much tradition. We come to a fabulous land".
He then answered questions from the journalists present: "What Cádiz means outside of here is that it has an important prestige. Everything that surrounds it is exciting. The most important thing for me is the day-to-day work and for me it is fundamental to come to a place where things are done in a coherent way".
Happiness. "Happiness doesn't come from status or money and that's why I'm here. Pressure is part of the profession and we clearly know what we depend on. Pressure doesn't scare me, I know where I am and where I'm coming from".
Planning. "I have already been told that the club, the sporting management and us are going to go hand in hand.
