The Cadista coach appeared at the press conference prior to the matchday 3 game against CD Tenerife
Cadista coach Paco López appeared at the press conference ahead of the matchday 3 game against CD Tenerife: ‘Our focus is on Tenerife and we have worked very well preparing for the game. The week has been intense working on the plans we have for the game. The players are practically all fit except Luis and Roger, who is still recovering from his knock. Tomás has rejoined the group’.
Bojan Kovačević. ‘The boy is very young and despite the difficulty of the language, he has integrated very well from the first day. His team-mates are helping him a lot. He is a strong centre-back with very good size, who will help us a lot’.
Confidence. ‘After the last game, the team has gained in confidence. Good results always help, but for the coaching staff it won't change anything in the idea we want to achieve with the team. Undoubtedly, positive results help the group’.
Rival. ‘Knowing Óscar Cano, who likes to propose a game, he's not going to change his idea too much because it's only two games. I'm expecting the best Tenerife because they have good players, even though they haven't had a good start’.
Mercado. ‘I know that possibilities are being considered. Whether they can be made or not, I have no certainty. My years of experience tell me that anything can happen in the last hours of the market’.
Goals. ‘The most important thing is to generate chances. Effectiveness is a question of conviction and confidence. I'm convinced that by creating chances, the goals will come. I would be worried if we struggled to create chances, as happened in the first half against Zaragoza’.
Desire. ‘My greatest wish is to change the current atmosphere to a climate of energy. In the end, it's everyone's job. If we manage to create a good atmosphere, it will help a lot’.
