Cadista coach, Paco López, appeared at a press conference ahead of the LALIGA HYPERMOTION matchday 2 against Levante next Saturday at 19:00: ‘It has been a productive and very good week, after the bad result of the first game. Except for the injured Luis and Tomás Alarcón, everyone is fit. There may be some doubts that we will resolve at the last minute’.
Kouamé. ‘Because of the situation he is in, we have decided, for the good of the player and the team, that he should work separately. Let's hope that between now and the end of the market everything can be resolved’.
Brian Ocampo. ‘It is clear that Ocampo is a very talented player. The injury kept him from showing his best level, but I think he had very good minutes the other day. We need that kind of player, but above all we need the best version of everyone’.
Goalkeeping. ‘I understand the debate, but I said I was very happy with the performance of the goalkeepers. We have very good goalkeepers and we are very calm. David is a professional as the top of a pine tree. I have tremendous confidence in both of them, either of them can play. Goalkeeping for me is like any other position on the pitch. There won't be a starting goalkeeper and a back-up goalkeeper, they will play depending on form, the opponent, the circumstances...’.
Match. ‘There will be some changes for sure. We'll also see how the injured players recover. Levante are a team that have had a very good pre-season, a dangerous team with a good coach who has some definite signs. We have to be more concerned and worried about our team’.
Challenge. ‘For me it is a challenge to give back to the fans the illusion of supporting their team. I walk down the street and I see children wearing Cádiz shirts every day. This feeling that the people here have, fills me with pride’.
Emotional aspect. ‘Nowadays it makes a difference with so much equality. There are many things that we want to improve, not only in terms of the game, but also in terms of values and identity, as a group, as a team, on an emotional level... which then help you to show on the pitch what you are as a team’.
