Manuel Vizcaíno: "This relegation is a hard hit"

The president of Cádiz CF, Manuel Vizcaíno, held a press conference after the match against Las Palmas, where he addressed the recent relegation of the team to Segunda División. "Evaluations need to be made with a cool head. It's clear that we've done things wrong. We've enjoyed, for the second time in history, four consecutive seasons in LALIGA EA SPORTS. We are already working on returning to Primera División."

Throughout his speech, the president highlighted the effort and commitment of the players, the coaching staff, and all club personnel. "Our players have fought until the last minute, and I am proud of their dedication. For one reason or another, we found ourselves in a difficult position, and it showed today. Sometimes football is cruel, and the results don't reflect the hard work put in. There have been many draws where we deserved all three points. However, we must learn from this experience and use it as an opportunity to come back stronger."

The president also expressed gratitude and support for the Cádiz fans, acknowledging their loyalty: "The fans never gave up, and we appreciate that. It's this same fan base that will lead us back to Primera División. We know that this relegation is a hard blow, but we also know that Cádiz fans are always there, in good times and bad. We ask them to continue supporting us as they always have."

"After 10 years of always achieving our goals, it would be good to recognize that the club is financially healthy. And that is very positive for the club," Vizcaíno emphasized.

Looking ahead, the president assured that the club is already working on a plan to return to the elite of Spanish football. "We have a solid project, and we are convinced that we will return to Primera División. I am already working on this challenge."
