Collaboration agreement between Cádiz Club de Fútbol and Al Jazira FC

Cádiz Club de Fútbol and Al Jazira FC have today signed an agreement which will see the two clubs collaborate on several fronts for mutual benefit. 

The agreement was signed on behalf of Al Jazira by its Group CEO, Mr. Ali Yousif Al Hammadi, while Cádiz was represented by its Vice President, Rafael Contreras Chamorro.

The goal of this agreement is to explore partnerships across the areas of player and technical development, scouting and transfers, friendly matches, and other commercial opportunities. 

Cádiz Co-owner Ben Harburg, who is based in Abu Dhabi, commented, “Cádiz have built a strong foundation in the Middle East and we believe Al Jazira are the perfect partner for us in the United Arab Emirates. We have a strong alignment of values and performance excellence in Al Jazira.” 

Ali Yousif Al Hammadi, Group CEO of Al Jazira Club said, “The agreement with Cadiz will pave the way for both clubs to achieve a successful and meaningful partnership in sports, commercial opportunities, and community development. Al Jazira and Cadiz share similar values: to excel on and off the pitch, and we are confident this agreement will lead both clubs to reach what they aspire for.”

Cádiz CF is based in the Cádiz, Spain and was founded in 1910. The club plays in La Liga and currently sits in 7th position in the league. 

Al Jazira Club is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE and was founded in 1974. The club plays in the UAE Pro League, where they have won the league 3 times.
