This initiative is part of a collaboration with the Vicente Ferrer Foundation
Cadiz CF has collaborated with the Vicente Ferrer Foundation, which carries out an enormous work of cooperation and development in Anantapur, one of the most depressed areas of India. The club, through its Foundation, has sent a hundred training kits, both jerseys and shorts as well as goalkeeper's clothing.
The Vicente Ferrer Foundation has been working in the field for more than half a century with the aim of offering opportunities to the most disadvantaged classes in the predominantly rural state of Andra Pradesh, providing the inhabitants with the necessary tools for their own development and empowerment.
During these 50 years of life, it has also participated in the construction and implementation of several hospitals, schools, orphanages, housing colonies..., promoting the inclusion of women and people with disabilities.
They also have a section promoting sports as a way for education and inclusion. In this way, hundreds of children train every day in several football fields, without distinction of sex or social class. Right next door, the little ones practice at the Rafa Nadal Foundation, a transversal training with sport as a common thread.
During this week, a delegation from Cádiz has traveled to India to visit the different projects of the Vicente Ferrer Foundation. Thus it has been possible to deliver the sports equipment of Cádiz CF.
