The Serbian player, Bojan Kovačević, was officially presented as a new Cádiz CF player on Tuesday morning in the press room of the stadium.
The coordinator of the sports management, Juanjo Lorenzo, welcomed the Serbian centre-back: ‘We hope that he will help us as soon as possible. We know his potential, he is an U21 international with Serbia. He is coming to complete the defence and I am convinced that he will help us on the pitch very soon’.
The player offered his first words as a Cadista player: ‘It's a pleasure for me to be here. This is a new challenge and I am very satisfied. I'm very optimistic, I believe in myself and I think I can achieve all the objectives that the coach sets’.
Objective. ‘I define myself as a player who fights hard, who doesn't give up. It's all happened very quickly and I'm very happy to be here’.
Arrival. ‘I have felt very well, very welcome, very comfortable from the first moment. The language is not going to be an impediment, in two days I have learnt the basics to communicate on the pitch and little by little I will improve’.
To close the press conference, both Juanjo Lorenzo and the technical secretary, Juan Cala, assessed the situation of the transfer market a few days before it closes.
