Awer Mabil has been one of the 26 players selected by Australia to play in the Qatar 2022 World Cup, which will be played from 20 November to 18 December 2022 and in which the Cadista player will represent his country.
This has been announced in the list drawn up by the Australian national coach, Graham Arnold, who has included the yellow striker in the final call-up for the World Cup.
So far, Awer Mabil has made 28 appearances for Australia's senior national team, scoring a total of eight goals and also the decisive penalty that qualified his team for the World Cup and eliminated Peru.
