3-0 | Celta took the win in the second half

A brace from Iago Aspas and a goal from Óscar decided the match at Abanca-Balaídos.

Beyond the score of both teams in the first minutes of the game, Celta and Cadiz showed their cards from the beginning. While the Cadiz players looked for the agility of Alejo and Brian Ocampo on the flanks, the locals showed their patience until the chance came up top with the quality that the men up top possess.

Little or nothing happened during the first half, as both teams were well positioned at the back to counteract their opponents' approaches. Before the end of the first half, Óscar Rodríguez had the first chance of the match with a long-range shot that was caught by Conan, and Choco responded with his head to Ocampo's cross.

In the second half, the image of the match was affected in favor of the locals. With a long-range shot by Iago Aspas that slipped into the Cadista goal after touching Luis Hernández when the clock reached the 56th minute, Celta took the lead on the scoreboard and in the game.

Just six minutes later, Óscar culminated a quick action in the vicinity of the Cadista area without giving Sergio González's team time to react. It was two-nil. The yellows, who were looking to close the gap with everything they had, left spaces at the back that the 'celestes' took advantage of on the counterattack, and the third and definitive goal came in the 75th minute with a long-range shot by Iago Aspas.

With the three-nil scoreline, the match was already sentenced, but the Cadets tried in every possible way to find the way that would lead them to the goal that would put them in the match. The goal did not come and the match ended with a 3-0 victory for Coudet's team.
