0-0 | Point of great sensations

Cádiz and Villarreal drew in a match that had chances for both teams.

The points were shared at the Cádiz coliseum on Saturday. Cadiz and Villarreal presented a game with two sides, as in the first half it was Unai Emery's team who created more danger to the opponent's goal, while the Cadiz had more bite in the second half through speed. Despite the desire of both teams, the score at the end of the match was nil-nil.

Within their idea of managing ball possession and making the quality of Lo Celso and Dani Parejo's boots appear, Villarreal showed up at the Cadiz stadium creating chances from the start, finding a tough Cadiz at the back. Conan, in the first quarter of an hour, had to appear on several occasions to keep the Cadiz goal to zero in this start of the match.

In the 25th minute of the first half, a cross from Iván Alejo that was headed by Rubén Sobrino forced Rulli to clear the ball to a corner before Negredo's arrival. It was the first great approach of the team coached by Sergio González. This first half, which also had Cadista approaches, was raising its level of intensity as the break approached, which was reached with a goalless draw.

After the restart, Villarreal came in with the ability to create danger through possession. On the hour mark, Nicolas Jackson was in the Cadista area and Conan appeared to repel the shot. Cadiz responded minutes later through Lucas, who appeared at the near post to try to take advantage of a rejected ball after a lateral cross. The ball went wide, but it meant a boost for the locals.

Choco brought speed in the last stretch of the match. The Honduran, in the 77th minute, shot from the edge of the area, provoking a corner kick that kept the Cadistas pressing on Rulli's goal. In the 81st minute, the striker was in speed in front of Rulli, who took out his leg to avoid the goal. Before reaching the 90th minute, Lozano hung the ball from the wing looking for Lucas, who missed the shot.

Castellón had one last chance in stoppage time. Morales was going alone towards Conan when, outside the area, Iza grabbed him preventing him from continuing towards the goal. Iza, who was sent off, prevented Morales from getting in front of the Cadista goalkeeper. Parejo finished off the free kick into the wall, ending the game in the subsequent play. In the end, a point for each team.
