This Saturday, 28 October, Cádiz CF will play the eleventh LALIGA EA SPORTS matchday against Sevilla FC at the Nuevo Mirandilla at 21:00.

It is worth remembering that this season in the First Division, the Cadista club has kept the dedication of its posters for home games at the Cadista stadium to emerging artists and figures from the province of Cadiz. Thus, under the theme 'Cádiz, a province of art', the poster for the next match will be dedicated to the flamenco singers Rancapino and Rancapino Chico.

Alonso Núñez Núñez, known as Rancapino, was born in Chiclana in 1945. His beginnings as a cantaor go back to his childhood and, together with Camarón de La Isla, he sang in the ventas of the Bay of Cádiz, especially frequently in the Venta de Vargas.

It is especially noteworthy that, in 1977, he won the 'Enrique El Mellizo' prize at the Concurso Nacional de Arte Flamenco de Córdoba and, in 2006, a tribute was held in his honour, organised by Miguel Poveda, at the Teatro Lope de Vega in Seville.

For his part, Alonso Núñez Fernández, better known as Rancapino Chico, is the son of the flamenco cantaor Rancapino, and began to make a name for himself in the children's programme 'Veo Veo', where he won the first revelation prize.

From then on, Rancapino Chico shared the stage with figures such as Lebrijano, Pansequito, Juan Villar and Paco Cepero, and was also awarded several prizes, such as the Gypsy Culture Prize and the Young Creators Prize. He also became one of the most sought-after singers at flamenco festivals and theatres all over Spain.
