Girona were taking a lot of precautionary measures, there was no time for anything else. Playing in the heat at two o'clock in the afternoon, with one less player and a team that moves the ball around a lot, you have to appreciate how the team gave their all in every play. We got to the end alive, we had a chance that I think, in poetic justice, could have given us a draw".
The sending off marked the match. "It was a very nice game between two teams in a good moment, with two very different philosophies, and the sending off didn't allow us to see that nice game that could have been played today".
