0 (2) - 0 (4) | Procedure completed in Vic

The game kicked off on the artificial turf of the Estadi ZEM Hipòlit Planàs in VIC with a large number of Cadista fans in the stands. Cádiz CF dominated possession at the start, with two great chances coming from the head of Negredo and Sergi Guardiola's boots, but both shots went wide. The home side levelled the scores and pushed forward in attack, creating a great chance in the 28th minute, only to find a great response from David Gil.

In the 33rd minute, Zaldua went down inside the area, with contact, but referee Ortiz Arias pointed to nothing punishable. In the final minutes of the first half, Badalona accumulated two dangerous chances that did not end up finding the net. The game went into half-time.

The start of the second half was similar to the start of the game, with Cádiz dominating possession with two great chances, first a great cross from Sergi Guardiola to the near post that Negredo could not reach and then a cross from Julio that went just over the crossbar.  From the 56th minute onwards, Sergio González began to introduce changes to try to shake up the game, as in the case of a very participative Robert Navarro. In the 73rd minute, the Cadista winger had a goal-scoring opportunity that was denied by the home goalkeeper. The Cadista side pressed again in the final stretch, and in the 82nd minute, they had a very clear double scoring chance. First a header by Zaldua from Lucas Pires' cross was blocked by the goalkeeper and then a Robert Navarro shot from the rebound was blocked by the home defence. And another in the 87th minute, with a header from Maxi Gómez that also failed to move the 0-0 scoreline. So it was time for extra time.

In the first half of extra time nothing much happened, however, at the start of the second half, Zaldua had another chance to score and the home side were down a player. Cádiz began to accumulate numerous chances to score, especially through crosses, but failed to score.

In the penalty shoot-out, Maxi Gómez, Robert Navarro, Kouamé and Lucas Pires converted their kicks. CF Badalona, who were very determined throughout the game, missed the second spot-kick and the fourth was saved by David Gil to seal their place in the next round.
