Press conference with the captains of Cadiz CF

The captains of Cádiz CF, Conan Ledesma, Iza, and Álex Fernández, held a press conference on Wednesday morning to apologize for the situation with the Cadiz fans and all the club's employees.

Conan Ledesma spoke first: "We want to convey that we are aware of the situation we are in, what we are going through. We know the effort, work, and dedication of the people in the institution, and we owe a lot to those efforts, to the people who are with us day by day."

Unity. "We are all together and we always fight until the end, we don't give up. We are very focused, even though it seems far and impossible because mathematically the numbers add up. That's what we hold on to. Let's have faith because we have four finals to play."

Fans. "We know that the fans' anger is normal. It hurts us too. We know what it is to suffer, and we know what the people of Cadiz, the fans, feel. We know what it means for the whole city to have this club in La Liga."

The Portuense full-back, Iza Carcelén, also spoke: "We are here facing a difficult and complicated situation. We have little to ask, we have to take that step as we always have even though it's difficult."

The Cadiz midfielder, Álex Fernández, concluded the intervention: "This is what we think and have discussed. We don't have the right to ask anything of our people because we haven't earned it throughout the year, but we need them to be with us once again. For the love of Cádiz, respect, and affection from all these years, we need to be one on Sunday. For the 90 minutes, we need to be one. After the end of the match, people can judge and make the decision they want."

As a closing statement, Conan made a final appeal: "It's very complicated but we need them for these four finals. Their support, the one they always had, is crucial for us and we need it more than ever."
