Sergio on Radio Marca: "We all push for good results"

The coach attended the Radio Marca Cádiz talk show, where he analysed different aspects surrounding the Cadiz team.

Coach Sergio González attended the talk show that Radio Marca Cádiz held at the La Bodega restaurant on Thursday. "We are all pushing forward. Coaching staff, club staff, players, fans, we all add up with positive messages. We are all important for Cádiz CF to achieve its objectives."

Closeness with the environment. "The closer we are, the more we can understand moments of the season. Often footballers and football is much more than what happens on the pitch, on the field, although it is true that this is the most important thing."

Privilege of coaching in LaLiga Santander. "We are still privileged. The most beautiful thing is to be a footballer, and the second most beautiful thing is to be a coach. That's the way it is. To be able to be part of this privileged group is a terrible source of pride. We know that everyone has a story in their family, I for example have been moving house with my family, plus going back to school and everything. My wife has always been a very strong support for me."

Looking for the team's best game. "This year we are struggling to find the kind of game we want to play. There have been situations that have prevented us from being at that point. Hopefully the 'click' that we needed in Valladolid will make us see that football has given us a chance. Let's go for it."

The victory in Valladolid. "We shouldn't be overconfident. We got the win in a game in which we started well, we tackled well, we had stretches in which we weren't good. In the last fifteen minutes, linking passes and being in the opposition half, we got the goal. You have to be close to the opponent's goal for the goal to come. We're in transition."
