Official press release: Resolution Cádiz-Getafe

As it is of public domain, today CÁDIZ CLUB DE FÚTBOL, S.A.D. has been notified of the resolution of the RFEF Competition Committee, by virtue of which it has agreed to suspend our players Iza Carcelén and Jeremías Conan Ledesma for 3 and 4 matches, respectively. by virtue of which it has agreed to suspend for 3 and 4 matches, respectively, our players Iza Carcelén and Jeremías Conan Ledesma, as well as other sanctions to certain members of the coaching staff, for the events that occurred at the end of the match corresponding to the twenty-fifth day of the National League Championship of the First Division, played on March 10, 2023 against GETAFE CLUB DE FÚTBOL, S.A.D.
Without prejudice to the absolute respect that the disciplinary bodies of the RFEF deserve, CÁDIZ CLUB DE FÚTBOL, S.A.D. considers that these sanctions are absolutely unfair and contrary to Law, as well as disproportionate, excessive and clearly harmful to CÁDIZ CLUB DE FÚTBOL, S.A.D. and the persons sanctioned, in view of the facts that actually occurred and from which the sanctions imposed derive.
That is why, in order to preserve and protect the rights and interests of our players and technical staff, as well as those of the Club itself, in a decisive moment of absolute importance for the Entity and the future of the competition, the legal services of CÁDIZ CLUB DE FÚTBOL, S.A.D. will present the corresponding allegations, in order to prevent the Entity and our players from being seriously harmed by a resolution that, in our understanding, is completely unjust and contrary to law.
