Fundación Cádiz CF and Fundación LaLiga are committed to employment inclusion

Two Genuine players start working at Burger King

The Cádiz CF Foundation and LaLiga Foundation are collaborating in the job placement programme in which, thanks to the official sponsor Burger King, LaLiga Genuine players can work in different shops of the multinational food company.

The beneficiaries of this programme have been our players Mario Ortega and José Ascanio, who are already immersed in the world of work. They are currently working in two Burger King restaurants located in El Puerto de Santa María.

Last year, Burger King España signed a social and labour inclusion agreement with LaLiga to progressively hire LaLiga Genuine players.

The aim has always been for them to form part of the restaurant chain's staff and thus boost the visibility of the 42 teams of people with intellectual disabilities that make up the competition.

As a token of appreciation, Burger King has given both players different gifts: a cloth bag, a T-shirt and a water bottle.

Accompanying Mario Ortega and José Ascanio was José Mata, manager of the Foundation, who said that "Burger King, LaLiga Genuine and the Cádiz CF Foundation share the same values such as teamwork, self-improvement and passion for football".

Along the same lines, Mata added that "from the organisation we will continue to support all initiatives that help to professionally train our champions".
