After his presentation as a new Cádiz CF footballer, Chris Ramos spoke to the club's official media to comment on his first impressions of his return home.

The dream of a cadista born in Cádiz and of a whole family. “Cádiz for me is everything. It means a lot to me, being with my family and friends where I grew up, where I am happy. I have always lived in La Laguna five minutes from here, so imagine, it is a dream of mine as a child, of my friends, of my family, of my grandfather and of any child from Cadiz and from Cádiz who is passionate about soccer. I have been lucky and it is being one of the best days of my life”.

The excitement of coming home. “I cannot describe it, it has been a very intense few days and everything has happened very quickly. I have I don't know how many messages on Whatsapp and social networks and I don't know how I'm going to respond to so many. The love and appreciation that people have shown me is incredible and from here I want to thank them. It's being crazy and I'm the happiest person in the world."

A lifetime as a cadista fan. "For me, Cádiz is everything. I am from Cádiz and from Cadiz. I can tell you about some of the trips I have made as a child as one more. I was in Bilbao, where we had to travel by bus for about 15-18 hours. Then, there was also in Alicante in the ascent of Cádiz. These are special moments and Cádiz for me is everything".

Play in the First Division with the team of your life. “The best circumstances have been fulfilled, better is impossible, and not even in my best dreams. Playing in the First Division and on top of that with your city's team, feeling its colors, this shield on my chest, is a source of pride and honour. I'm going to give my soul, my skin and whatever it takes to leave the team where it deserves to be, which is among the elite”.

Player profile and versatility in attack. "I am a very physical player, speed, breaking into space, the aerial game, as well as scoring goals. I will try to work to the maximum for what the club needs and help as much as possible. In recent years I have been on the left and right wing This year I have also felt comfortable at the front. I feel comfortable in all three positions, although this year I have made the leap in the professional field".

Adaptability to the style of play. “It is indifferent to me as I used to adapt well in the three attacking positions. As long as it's helping the team, I don't care about the position, whether it's alone or accompanied by a striker”.

Emotion to see the stadium and the fans. “That cannot be described. Now when I have stepped onto the field and I have seen it from below, where I always saw it in the stands, tears have come to my eyes. I have been to all receptions. I remember Oviedo, with the entire avenue full, matches that I have experienced and that with the fans of Cádiz, which is unique and special. I am where I want to be, which is the best team in the world”.
