Balance of the season

It has been a rollercoaster from the start. The agonising draw at home on the first matchday, I think, was the start of what could come later. We suffered a negative streak that led to a change of coaching staff. All of that generated a lot of stress with the departure of a much-loved coach who had made history at Cádiz. The team seems to have recovered and assimilated it well. In the end, we have been saved as we started the season, agonisingly. The season is a pass for salvation.

The best moment

The end. The season in general terms has been very difficult, but in the end we are where we wanted to be. With the growth that Cádiz is going through, everything that comes with being in the First Division is a success and a joy for the fans, but we have to learn from our mistakes and make more demands so that we don't suffer so much until the end.

The worst moment

Negative streak with a change of coach. The new coach came in with a different idea and a different concept to what we had been used to for many years. That change was complicated but we recovered, we started to show pride and courage to save the season.

Message to the fans

We will try to learn from our mistakes for next year, work more continuously and suffer less. On an individual level, I've had a complicated year since a pre-season that I wasn't able to do and that has weighed me down physically throughout the season. As a level of self-criticism, I think I have not been at the level of the last two seasons. I have to do the full pre-season and get myself in shape to be at the service of the club next season at the level of the first two seasons. This is my message and my commitment to get the yellow jersey back in the first division next year.
