4-1 | Girona prevails at Montilivi

Cádiz CF faced Girona FC in matchday 32 of LALIGA EA SPORTS, playing away from home, with the following lineup: Conan Ledesma; Iza, Ousou, Víctor Chust, Lucas Pires; Robert Navarro, Álex, Rubén Alcaraz, Iván Alejo; Juanmi, and Maxi Gómez.

The match started with Girona dominating possession. Despite this, Cádiz had some early approaches but struggled to find a shot on target. In the 8th minute, a corner, rehearsed play, was headed in by Eric García to make it 1-0. Two minutes later, Yangel Herrera's shot hit the post.

In the 21st minute, Girona extended their lead with a collective play resulting in a well-placed shot from Iván Martín, beyond the reach of Conan.

With two minutes of added time and a clear chance for Savinho, whose lob hit the crossbar, the first half ended.

The second half saw Escalante and Chris Ramos coming on for Álex Fernández and Juanmi. Cádiz pressed more but struggled to create clear chances. In the 53rd minute, Chris Ramos's shot deflected off Robert Navarro, making it easy for the home goalkeeper.

Cádiz had two more opportunities, with Lucas Pires's powerful shot saved by the goalkeeper and a cross from Robert Navarro narrowly missed by Iza.

In the 69th minute, Sobrino and Roger Martí replaced Alejo and Maxi Gómez. Shortly after, Dovbyk scored the third goal after a solo run, which was reviewed by VAR for offside but allowed to stand.

In the 79th minute, Chris Ramos had a clear chance saved by the goalkeeper. From the resulting corner, Escalante scored from close range.

However, Girona immediately responded with Portu scoring to make it 4-1. In the 85th minute, Sergi Guardiola replaced Robert Navarro. In the 89th minute, Gazzaniga made a great save from Chris Ramos's shot.
