2-0 | Osasuna wins at El Sadar

Cádiz CF played on matchday 25 of LALIGA EA SPORTS against CA Osasuna, away from home, with: Conan Ledesma; Zaldua, Meré, Fali, Víctor Chust, Lucas Pires; Robert Navarro, Escalante, Rubén Alcaraz; Juanmi and Chris Ramos. Both teams wore a black armband in memory of the two civil guards who died in Barbate.

The match started with Cádiz CF well positioned on the pitch at the El Sadar stadium. In fact, they had a clear first chance, in the 4th minute of the match, with a header from a cross by Fali after a Rubén Alcaraz cross from a set piece. The home side responded with a couple of dangerous approaches on the Cadista goal, but without finishing.

The game became evenly matched with many duels in the centre of the pitch. In the 24th minute, a counter-attack led by Robert Navarro gave way to Chris, who struck with his left foot. His shot went high. In the 32nd minute, Rubén García's free kick ended up in the top corner of the goal defended by Conan.

With a minute added on, Jorge Meré had a clear chance in front of goal after a wonderful cross from Robert Navarro, the most outstanding player of the first half, to the far post. The Cadista centre-back's outside-of-the-foot shot sailed just over and the half-time whistle was blown.

The second half kicked off with Iván Alejo coming on in place of Zaldua. In the 61st minute, Chus headed high from a corner kick by Rubén Alcaraz. However, two minutes later, a measured cross from Rubén García to the head of Budimir, ended up making it 1-0 after a very tight shot that Conan Ledesma could not reach.

Immediately Samassékou and Maxi Gómez came on in place of Escalante and Chris Ramos. In the 71st minute, Darwin Machis came on in place of Robert Navarro. Four minutes later, Sergi Guardiola came on in place of Jorge Meré. Osasuna slowed down the pace of the match, in which no chances accumulated in either area.

In the 90th minute, Areso set up Budimir, who squared for Conan Ledesma to make it 2-0. With four minutes added on, the game came to an end.
