The Cádiz CF played the 35th round of LALIGA EA SPORTS against Getafe CF at home, lining up with: Conan Ledesma; Zaldua, Fali, Víctor Chust, Javi Hernández; Robert Navarro, Escalante, Rubén Alcaraz; Roger Martí, and Chris Ramos.

Before the start of the match, a minute of silence was observed in memory of our former player Higinio Vilches, who recently passed away. Additionally, the Cádiz CF team wore shirts in support of Jorge Meré.

The match began under a scorching sun over the "tacita de plata" (the little silver cup, a nickname for Cádiz). The first chance of the game would be in favor of Cádiz. It was a second play, after a set piece, where Roger headed slightly over the crossbar.

In the 17th minute, Cádiz CF tried again with a shot from Escalante, which was caught by David Soria. Immediately after, Roger Martí had another attempt with a powerful shot that the visiting goalkeeper repelled.

In the 28th minute, the Madrid-born goalkeeper intervened again after a powerful shot from Chris Ramos. Cádiz CF kept creating chances. That's why in the 34th minute, Chris Ramos was brought down inside the box by Djene. The Basque referee pointed to the penalty spot and showed a yellow card to the visiting defender. Rubén Alcaraz stepped up to convert the penalty, deservedly putting Cádiz CF ahead on the scoreboard.

With six minutes added on, the first half came to an end.

The second half started with two changes in Getafe and the same dynamic of the game. Cádiz maintained control, with the first chance in the 48th minute: a shot from Rubén Alcaraz that went over the bar.

In the 56th minute, Javi Hernández tried his luck from almost the midfield with a set-piece, attempting to surprise David Soria, who had to stretch to send the ball out for a corner and prevent a stunning goal. In the 63rd minute, Zaldua, Sobrino, and Roger Martí made way for Iza, Alejo, and Juanmi. Six minutes later, Maxi Gómez replaced Chris Ramos.

In the 74th minute, a goal by Latasa was disallowed for an offside position. Immediately afterward, the hydration break was authorized, as in the first half, due to the high temperature.

In the 81st minute, Lucas Pires came on for Robert Navarro. With six minutes of added time, Conan Ledesma, in the 94th minute, repelled a powerful shot that bounced in front of him. In the aftermath, he was fouled and needed medical attention.

Cádiz managed to maintain the lead, securing a well-deserved victory that keeps the dream of permanence alive.
