1-0 | Getafe win on a chilly evening

The game kicked off on the Coliseum pitch on a very cold night in Getafe.

In the 9th minute of the game, Cádiz had the first clear chance of the match with a header from Robert Navarro that crashed against the crossbar from a corner, after Roger had headed in at the near post. The Cadista side were comfortable, and feeling good, on the pitch with a number of approaches.

In the 39th minute, Chris Ramos had a great chance on his right boot with a cross shot that was turned behind for a corner by David Soria. Before the restart, Javi Hernández was hit by Djené, who was sent off for a double yellow card after VAR intervention. The corner was swung in again and Roger's header at the near post went narrowly wide. With six minutes added on, half-time was reached.

At the restart, Álex replaced Robert Navarro. Despite the numerical superiority, Cádiz found themselves up against a willing Getafe side throughout the second half. Chris Ramos, in the 65th minute, raced through on goal but was unable to get a shot on target. Getafe stretched and in the 75th minute managed to score from a free kick, Ledesma in the 84th minute saving the second goal with a great intervention.
