1-0 | Eibar wins at Ipurúa

Cádiz CF played the eleventh round of the league away against SD Eibar. Paco López's team formed with: J. Antonio Caro; Zaldua, Chust, Kovacevic, Glauder; Alejo, San Emeterio, Escalante, De la Rosa; Sobrino and Chris Ramos.

The match started with a first shot by Escalante inside the area towards goal, which was rejected by the local defense in the small area. Immediately after, a weak header by Fede San Emeterio in the second play from a set piece was caught by the local goalkeeper.

Cádiz CF continued to stay in the Eibar half for longer, with a few more shots and several set-piece situations. However, in the 30th minute, SD Eibar made a counterattack in a few touches to set up Corpas, who with a cross shot, put the 1-0 on the scoreboard. After the goal, SD Eibar were more comfortable in the match and accumulated danger on the Cadista goal. With three minutes added on, the half-time whistle blew.

The second half started without changes in either team. In the 57th minute, Ocampo, Ontiveros and Carlos Fernández came on in place of Alejo, De la Rosa and Chris Ramos. The changes shook the team in attack. Carlos Fernández was brought down inside the area, but the referee did not signal anything punishable, following a VAR review.

In the 67th minute, Kouamé came on for San Emeterio. In the 75th minute, Melendo came on for Sobrino. Cádiz CF continued in SD Eibar's half, but without finding the net with clarity.

In the 88th minute, Pascual had a chance in front of Caro to make it 2-0, but it went wide. With six minutes added on, in a stoppage time with little effective play, the game came to an end.
