0-4 | Barça decided the game in the second half

A good second half by the Barcelona team decided the match.

The match started well for the Cadistas, who turned on the area of the Barcelona team with dangerous actions. The clearest, by Rubén Sobrino in the second minute, taking advantage of a rejected ball. His shot was repelled by a defender. Barça responded with a forced shot by Memphis that was caught by Ledesma.

The two teams clashed in a duel of intensity. Sergio Gonzalez's team, well withdrawn, managed to repel the different attacks of the Barça players, looking for counter-attacks that did not manage to reach the goal defended by Ter Stegen with clarity. In the final minutes of the first half, it was Barça, with shots from Memphis and Ferran, who were the most dangerous.

After the break, the script of the match did not seem to change, until a dead ball after a rebound in the Cadista area changed the course of the match. Frenkie De Jong took advantage of that ball to finish at ease and put Barça ahead on the scoreboard. Ten minutes later, also after a series of rejections, Lewandowski scored the second goal for Xavi's team.

Cádiz were looking to close the gap on the scoreboard, but it was now the Barça players who were closing well on the counter. At the 80th minute, an incident in the stands left the match suspended for almost an hour. After the restart, the Cadistas had some quick action of danger, but Ansu Fati was the one who sentenced in the 86th minute with a play on the counterattack.

In stoppage time, Dembélé scored the fourth and final goal with a shot from the edge of the area, ending the match with a victory for FC Barcelona by zero to four.
