Fourth friendly of the preseason for the Cadista team. This Friday, Sergio Gonzalez's team faced Lille OSC of the Ligue 1 Uber Eats at the Marbella Football Center. A match in which the two teams sought to assert their style of play over the opponent's, but in which above all the idea of being a preparation match for the next season in the Spanish and French elite respectively was maintained.

After 20 minutes of play, a corner kick for the visitors was to become the zero to one on the scoreboard. Bayo took advantage of a series of rejections in the Cadista area to finish on the goal line and put his team ahead. Baleba had the occasional chance to extend the lead for the French, but Conan Ledesma made a good save to prevent it.

With a shot by Etta Eyong a few minutes after the half-hour mark, Cadiz had the clearest chance to equalize in the first half. Álex Fernández, inside the area, also had the chance to level the score. His first-time shot was repelled by a central defender under the posts. Despite the good minutes at the end of the first half, the score at the break was 0-1 for Lille.

The game started with a lot of intensity for the Yellows, starting the second half with a set piece. The Cadistas squeezed a high level of intensity into every action, taking every play to the limit. The French, with the result in their favor, sat back and waited for their chance.

In the final minutes, Cadiz took a step forward to have a presence in the vicinity of the Lille area. Lozano, in speed, came dangerously close to the French goal, but the defense and the goalkeeper were right to prevent the yellow equalizer. And with the score at 0-1, the game came to an end.
