The 'Let's recover the streets' campaign was presented this Monday in the stadium's press room and was attended by those responsible for the three entities that have joined forces to develop the activity: the CCF Foundation, the CCF Virgili and the ASDE Scouts Andalusia.
It should be noted that the campaign is organized by the Foundation and thanks to the collaboration of CCF Virgili and ASDE Scouts Andalucía, it aims to recover the squares as play spaces for the boys and girls of the city, making their use compatible with the rest of the neighbors and neighbors.
José Mata, manager of the Cádiz Club de Fútbol Foundation, affirms that “this activity is one of the Foundation's bets this season, since the alliance with Cádiz CF Virgili and ASDE Scouts Andalucía allows us to transfer the sports actions that we have been developing in the schools this time in the squares ”.
On the other hand, Antonio Louzado, vice president of Cádiz CF Virgili stated that “when we learned about the initiative proposed by Cádiz CF, we did not hesitate to adhere to it. This summer, when we announced our signings, we themed the presentation videos in such a way as to show the square or street where they started to touch a ball. "
Finally, he added that “it is essential that the game in the streets be recovered, firstly because it is important to instill in boys and girls values related to sport; and then because thanks to playing on the street many players from Cadiz have made history, like the Pepe Mejías. Paco Baena and Pollito Roldán in soccer; or Ricardo, Carlitos, Jesulito, Caco, Wilfred, Ramoncito, or Ame Romero herself in futsal ”.
The activities will be attended by players from the Cádiz CF Virgili first team, the Honor Division youth team and players from the women's team, as well as players from Cádiz Virgili Don Bosco and the Salesian school. Also, members of different scout groups in the province will participate in the activities that will take place on Saturdays.
