The Cádiz players returned to work at the Ciudad Deportiva less than 24 hours after their draw with Barcelona at Camp Nou. Álvaro Cervera's men trained from 10.30am at the Campo Macarty as they turned their attention to the visit of Real Betis this coming Sunday.
The squad was divided into different groups to balance out the work effort for those who started the game at the Camp Nou, those who came off the bench, and those who did not take part at all. On the pitch, there was a mixture of passing drills, small-sided games and shooting practice. This was the first of five sessions scheduled for the week.
Tuesday has been designated as a rest day, so the squad will be back at it on Wednesday, again at 10:30am, as they continue preparations ahead of welcoming Los Verdiblancos.
