THE FOUNDATION AND LOCAL FOOD BANK RENEW THEIR PARTNERSHIP

Both institutions will continue to work together an a key week with a major food collection drive in full swing

The Cádiz CF Foundation and local city food bank have recently renewed their collaboration agreement with both institutions working together for another year in the combined effort to fight against hunger within the community.

Head of the CCF Foundation José Mata signed the deal together with the President of the local Cádiz food bank Isabel Gómez Vacas at the club offices at the Estadio Ramón de Carranza.

The current few days are key in the fight against hunger with a major food collection drive currently in full swing as part of the ‘Gran Recogida de Alimentos’. This initiative will continue through to 22 November and more details can be found here. (in Spanish)

One of the new features of this year's collection process is that participants can use local supermarkets to buy vouchers instead of the traditional donating kilos of food physically, a move which was prompted by the ongoing health crisis as a consequence of the covid-19 pandemic.
