TAMARACEITE “A CONSISTENT SIDE WHO ARE TOUGH TO BEAT” – PAVÓN

CCF B boss Juan Manuel Pavón looked ahead to this weekend’s match against the Canary Islanders

After overseeing the squad’s final training session before their away assignment against UD Tamaraceite, Cádiz CF B head coach Juan Manuel Pavón offered his thoughts on Sunday’s Segunda División B matchday-six clash.

Ahead of the team’s journey to Las Palmas, Pavón said: “We don’t go to the Canary Islands every day of the week and it’s a trip we’re looking forward to. We’ll be up against an experienced side packed with seasoned campaigners. It all makes for an attractive trip.”

Noting that Tamaraceite did not suffer their first defeat of the season until matchday five, he said: “They’re a consistent side who are tough to beat. They have kept the spine of the team that recently won promotion to Segunda B.”

He added: “The sides from the Canary Islands tend to be very well drilled, with players who link up well with each other with ball at feet.”

Asked about the make-up of his squad for the match, Pavón said: “We’ll have to wait until the last minute to make a decision on who is going to travel.”
