SPORTING DIRECTOR ÓSCAR ÁRIAS LEAVES CÁDIZ

The club is restructuring the department with Enrique Ortiz being named as sporting coordinator

Cádiz CF and Óscar Arias have decided to end their contractual relationship, which ran to the end of the season. It’s a decision reached after several weeks of consideration and means the start of a new era for the club.

Arias, who was sporting director up to now, said in his farewell that he wanted “to thank the affection shown by the club and fans, which has led us to achieving great things,” but he accepted that “now is the time to go  our separate ways, and for both of us to continue growing in our respective sporting projects.”

The sporting department at Cádiz is being restructured with Enrique Ortiz taking over as sporting coordinator. He’ll be accompanied by Jorge Cordero as head of scouting and Alberto Cifuentes as part of the sporting management structure.

The club would like to thank Óscar Arias for his hard work over the recent seasons, and wishes him all the very best for his future career.
