Cádiz coach Sergio González spoke to the media ahead of the match against Granada CF. "The week's work has been very good. Today I had to recognise how well the lads are working this week. None of them deserve to be left out of the squad. That's football. It's the most difficult position for me because telling a player who is working well that he's not going to be called up is complicated. The feelings are good, but we lack the backing of points. The closest way to victory is the way we are working. The team knows how important Monday's game is."

Focused. "We are only thinking about winning the game, we have worked on Granada's weaknesses and strengths. We'll see about the rest, but we're thinking about winning the game. Everything that helps us to win we have to put aside. We have to be able to put it to one side, give the best version of ourselves and make the team a strong unit with offensive and defensive alternatives. We have to put it to one side as long as it can't help us win the game."

Tactical work. "The team is adapting well to what we are asking of them and they are executing it well on the pitch despite not getting the win. We'll see what options Granada have in terms of system. We'll decide exactly what we'll put on the pitch."

The match expected at Los Cármenes. "If we hold up well at the start and they come up against a solid, important and imposing Cádiz, it could work in our favour. They're very good at the deadlock with good shooters and good finishers. Jorge Molina is a reference that makes the whole team play. Unbalancing wings. Pivots with a lot of work. They are a good unit that can wake up at any moment. Hopefully we can keep them in that bad streak. We will work to counteract their interesting nuances and take advantage of their weaknesses."

Support from the fans. "We have to thank the fans. We live by and for them and the fact that they support their team makes them carry the team in their arms. We want to give them the total joy of victory at home. If we get the win on Monday, we will return the fans' affection. We have to thank the fans for the welcome at the stadium because that's what makes you come, you live it, it's experience, it's sensitivity. You have to live it, you can't explain it. We have to thank our fans."
