SECOND-LAST SESSION BEFORE VISITING THE BENITO VILLAMARÍN

The players trained for the penultimate time before facing Real Betis

The Cádiz CF squad went through their paces at the club’s training ground on Wednesday morning, in what was their second-last session before facing Real Betis Balompié at the Estadio Benito Villamarín on Friday. Álvaro Cervera’s men did plenty of ball work in a session also chiefly focused on tactics.

Training began with piggy-in-the-middle possession exercises, before the players did finishing drills which alternated between shooting and headers. Finally, the squad completed a practice match on a pitch of reduced dimensions, with Cervera supervising the game and using it to develop tactical aspects of the team’s play.

On Thursday at 9:30 CEST, Cádiz will train for the final time before their clash with Betis.
