POSITIVE WEEKEND FOR OUR INTERNATIONALS PLAYERS

Jonsson, Akapo, Osmajic and Bastida all scored points with their respective national teams

One of the first international games took place on Friday. Jenss Jonson was back with the Danish national team in the match corresponding to matchday 9 of Group F of the group stage for the World Cup in Qatar 2022. The Danish national football team, already qualified to play in the World Cup, won against the Faroe Islands by three goals to one, with the Cádiz CF player playing in the last ten minutes of the match.

 

The next match of the Danish team will be this evening at 20:45 against Scotland at Hampden Park in Glasgow (United Kingdom).

 

Meanwhile, Akapo's Guinea won Tunisia at home and still have a chance of qualifying for the third round of the African qualifiers for the World Cup in Qatar. The right-back and leader of the Equatorial Guinea national football team will face Mauritania tomorrow, Tuesday, at 20:00 at the Olympic Stadium in Nouakchott (Mauritania).

 

Osmajic's Montenegro national football team got a hard-fought draw in the second half against the Netherlands in a match in which the cadista striker played all 90 minutes and provided the assist for the first goal of the Montenegrin team. The next match will be tomorrow, Tuesday 16 November, against Turkey in the last matchday of the group stage at the Stadion pod Goricom (Montenegro) at 20:45.

 

Finally, Bastida's U-19 team remains unbeaten. The player from Chiclana played the full second half in the national team's six goals to nil win over Azerbaijan and has taken a place in the Elite Round of the European Championship. The Spain Under-19 football team will be looking to finish top of their group this coming Tuesday, for which they will have to beat the powerful Belgium on the pitch of the Bissen Stadium at 18:00.
