The incredible hard-work, dedication and devotion of the members of the ‘Peña 4 Gatos’ Cádiz supporters club was clear for all to see at the event held recently for their XIII awards and the celebration of their 17th anniversary.
Speaker and presenter Manuel Camacho was once again in charge of presenting the awards. The problems caused by the pandemic meant the awards ceremony was forced to use a rather complex format, but there’s no doubt it was worth the effort, given the incredible interest shown in the ceremony and the amount of love for Cádiz on display.
The awards went to:
“GATO DE ESCAYOLA” (Cat in Plaster): Awarded with a critical eye, but in a friendly, fun manner, to the least successful person or institution from last season. VAR ‘Video referee’.
“GATO CON BOTAS” (Puss in Boots): Awarded to the person or institution who, through their activities, have most spread the love for Cádiz. Peña Cadista Aguada Amarilla.
“GATO DE ANGORA” (Angora Cat): Awarded to the most outstanding person or institution in the 2019-2020 season, Manuel Vizcaíno Fernández, president of Cádiz CF.
“DON GATO”: For a life dedicated to Cádiz CF. Michael Robinson.
