PAVÓN: “ON SUNDAY WE'LL SEE TWO VERY SIMILAR TEAMS”

The head coach of the Cádiz 'B' team offered his analysis ahead of the game against Las Palmas Atlético

Cádiz 'B' team coach Juan Manuel Pavón offered his view on this weekend's game with his side set to face UD Las Palmas Atlético at the El Rosal training complex.

The Huelva native looked ahead to the season opener stating: “we're in a different world, facing a new situation with everything we’ve been through.” He went on: “This will be a shorter season with new teams to face such as those from the Canary Islands.”

He added that the key for the season ahead, “will be the capacity to adapt. As we showed last season, we need to be a competitive and reliable team and these are aspects we've been working on during pre-season.”

On looking back at pre-season games he said, “it's true that we enjoyed a series of wins and draws, but in those games I saw positive and negative aspects of our way of playing, but that in essence is what pre-season is all about.”

He concluded stating:  “There is always a sense of expectation at the beginning of the campaign. I hope to see the team I want from the opening match”. Looking at Sunday's opposition he noted: “they are a competitive side and play in an aggressive manner with young players who are good on the ball. We'll see two very similar teams in action.
