Álvaro Negredo will remain at Cádiz CF next season after the striker fulfilled the contractual conditions for the renewal of his deal in a 2020/21 campaign in which he played 2,231 minutes.
Negredo was Cádiz’s first signing after the club sealed promotion to LaLiga Santander. He made 35 appearances in all competitions – of which 29 were starts – and was the team’s top scorer with eight goals.
