MEDICAL REPORT ON MARCOS MAURO, ALCALÁ AND ADEKANYE

The players suffered injury issues in the victory over Barcelona

Cádiz CF players Marcos Mauro, Pedro Alcalá and Bobby Adekanye came away from Saturday’s LaLiga Santander win over FC Barcelona with injury problems and have since undergone tests to ascertain the exact extent of the issues. Club doctor Sebastián Jiménez has released the following medical report on the trio:

“Marcos Mauro has suffered a grade I-II ankle sprain, with the timeline on his recovery dependent on how the injury progresses. Alcalá has a nasal bone fracture; he will have to wear protective gear, but the issue will not prevent him from training as normal. Finally, Adekanye has suffered a hamstring tear in his left thigh.”
