Hard work in defence: “In this team, the first priority is to defend well. Good results come from that starting point. What’s important is that we all accept that and do everything the coach asks us to. Celta are really good on the ball and if you’re too open against a side like that, they can hurt you. We’ve picked up another point and we go again.”
Opportunity as a starter: “You have to work hard week in, week out. The team’s performing well. If you don’t play, you just have to train as hard as you can and make the most of your chance when it comes your way. I’m pleased to have been given the chance and it’s just a shame my shot hit the crossbar.”
