Cádiz CF striker ‘Choco’ Lozano spoke to the media after the home win over Huesca.
The forward claimed: “this is a moment of pure joy, we worked hard to get the win over a team who really need to get maximum points. We also secured top flight status and that's something that we all can enjoy”.
He stated: “I'm hugely proud of the work by the team, Cádiz returned to the top flight after a lengthy absence and every credit must go to the coaching staff as it hasn't been easy at times”.
Upon starting the game against Huesca, Lozano observed: “I've been easing my way back into action and the coach has gradually given me more playing time. It was hard being injured and I was ruled out for approximately a month. I'm really pleased with the way things have worked out and now hope that we finish off the campaign well and then start to focus on next season with a view ro remaining in the top flight for years to come”.
He concluded with some words for the fans: “I hope our supporters enjoy this moment and I look forward to having them back in the stands as their support means so much to us”.
