The season Javier Ontiveros is having so far with Cádiz CF is not going unnoticed in the world of football. The Marbella-born attacker, top scorer and assist provider for the Yellow Submarine in Spain’s second division, has won the fans’ affection through his quality, commitment, and performance during the current campaign.

In this context, the CIES Football Observatory has conducted a study on the players with the best offensive performance in the world, based on three specific statistics: reception, chance creation, and finishing. Based on these criteria, they have compiled a list of the 50 best players on the planet who have played at least 1,080 minutes in their league.

The table is topped by Bayern Munich’s attacker Michael Olise with 88.5 points out of 100, followed by Lamine Yamal, Florian Wirtz, and Vinicius Jr.

On the list, specifically in 46th place, appears Javier Ontiveros with 76.2 points, tied with Juventus player Kenan Yildiz and ahead of Francisco Trincão, Tetê Martins, Nuno Tavares, and Brian Rodríguez.

Along these lines, another of the most prestigious data-based rating platforms in football, SofaScore, places the Marbella player as the best in all of LALIGA Hypermotion this season. With an average rating of 7.57 out of 10, the Cádiz attacker tops the list of best players in the competition, ahead of Andrés Martín from Racing Club and Luis Suárez from Almería.
