Haroyan started in the line-up for the Armenian national team and starred for all 90 minutes in a 1-1 draw against the Icelandic national football team in the seventh matchday of Group 10 for the 2022 Qatar World Cup qualification. Currently, the Armenian national football team is third in the group with a total of 12 points, tied with the North Macedonian national football team.
The Armenian will have another chance to qualifie to the World Cup in Qatar with the Armenian national team next Monday, October 11, starting at 20:45 against the Romanian national football team.
