The Cádiz squad completed the first of three preparatory sessions for Friday’s match.
After enjoying a day off on Monday, Cádiz returned to training on Tuesday morning as Álvaro Cervera’s men began preparations for Friday’s clash with SD Eibar (21:00 CET). The session was the first of three scheduled work-outs ahead of the game at Ipurua.
With the starters against Villarreal training at a lower intensity, the squad completed a session in which ball work took centre stage. Among the drills carried out were piggy-in-the-middle ball-retention exercises and matches played in reduced spaces.
The Cádiz players are next due to go through their paces at the club's training ground on Wednesday at 10:30 CET.
