Monday morning saw the Cádiz CF squad begin preparing for Wednesday’s LaLiga Santander clash with Real Betis at the Benito Villamarín (22:00). The players who started Sunday’s match against Getafe focused on recovery during the work-out at the club’s sports complex, which got underway on the Ramón Blanco training pitch at 11:00.

Álvaro Cervera’s men began by doing piggy-in-the-middle ball-retention drills, before splitting into two groups. While the players included in the line-up at the Carranza this weekend worked with fitness coach Miguel Ángel Campos, the rest of the squad played practice matches on pitches of reduced dimensions.

On Tuesday at 10:30, the team will undergo their final training session before the game in Seville.
