ESPINO: “IT’S A TREMENDOUS VICTORY”

The left back spoke after the win over Getafe.

As soon as the game was over against Getafe, Pacha Espino spoke to the club’s official media team to discuss the win in the Coliseum. “It’s a tremedous victory and that’s two in a row, we’re getting close to avoiding relegation.”

Happy about the win, even though it came through an own goal. “It doesn’t matter how you score, the main thing is picking up points here, one or three, and getting all three was really important for us.”

A hard-fought game. “We knew it was going to be a tough game, with a lot of second balls. Both teams are pretty similar and we knew what we were going to face.”

Ever closer to the the goal. “We’re closer than ever to avoiding relegation, but we need to keep working hard because if you take your eye off the ball you can drop down places. We need to aim to get the biggest points tally possible and as soon as possible to ensure we stay up, which is what we all want.”
