The RFEF's Competition Committee announced on Wednesday the start of extraordinary disciplinary proceedings against the president of Cádiz CF, Manuel Vizcaíno, for what it calls "conduct that could constitute one or more infringements of the general sporting rules.” The committee has appointed an investigator to run the proceedings.
The disciplinary action was initiated following a complaint by the RFEF's director of integrity and security, which focused on comments made in various media outlets and an open letter to the RFEF president that was published on Sunday.
Cádiz CF and its president reiterate that at no time have they acted contrary to any regulation, and they will provide the relevant legal arguments as duly required.
