In the past few hours, following tests on the first team squad members ahead of this Saturday’s Copa del Rey game, Cádiz CF were informed of a positive test.
Prior to travelling to Girona a second set of samples were taken from the first team players, which confirmed the positive test. The player in question is quarantining with their close contacts, in line with current protocols.
The Cádiz first team, following all current health and safety measures, travelled for their game this Saturday against Girona in Montilivi.
